A VAT number in a valid EU format with a passing check digit earns a verified buyer badge, and lets suppliers invoice you under the reverse-charge rules.
We check format and check digits offline. Registry confirmation against the EU VIES register is performed by our compliance team before the badge is granted.

Your profile is never listed publicly. Suppliers see your company and country only after you contact them.
